We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming secondary school in Hertfordshire from September 2025.

Our school fosters a nurturing and inclusive environment where both students and staff thrive. We believe English is central to developing confident, articulate and thoughtful individuals who go on to make a positive difference in the world.

We are looking for an English Teacher who:
•    Has strong subject knowledge and a love for English literature and language
•    Delivers engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ability to teach KS5 would be an advantage
•    Sets high expectations for all students and supports them in achieving their potential
•    Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
•    Is reflective and committed to continuous professional development
•    Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community
•    Is committed to supporting the school’s values of Respect, Aspire, Nurture and Achieve
