Student Liaison Officer Required for a Primary School in Wembley

At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Student Liaison Officer to work full-time at a fantastic primary school in Wembley

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools.

Working days: 5 days per week Hours: 7:45am - 16:30 / 16:45

Purpose of the Post:The postholder will play a key role in promoting the School to KS2 students and the local community including supporting our open evenings, providing support and an excellent visitorexperience during school events, and in developing and delivering high-impact outreach activity in schools.The postholder will also play a key role in attracting applications from prospective students and supporting the admissions process.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Representing the School at events open evenings and engagements involving primary schools.Working with the Admissions Team, providing a high quality welcome and induction programme for new students including resources and informationOrganise, lead and support outreach activities.Liaise with local primary schools to identify and facilitate interactions e.g. organise in-school events, projects and activities such as STEM club, Mastery maths, use of specialist school facilities.Develop and maintain effective links with primary schools and other relevant stakeholders where appropriate to ensure a smooth transition from primary school to secondary school.Represent all departments, courses or subject areas when working with groups of all ages, during recruitment events.Support and deliver talks, presentations and workshops/activities.Act professionally as an advocate and representative of the School and your own faculty at all times.Support the Admissions Team with planning and conducting Year 6 to Year 7 transition meetings.Undertake supervised office tasks including data entry, prospectus design, creating workshop resources and general event admin tasks.To actively promote the school and liaise with outside agencies as necessary, representing the school as appropriate.
