About the Role:
  • Full-time teaching of a well-behaved and engaging Year 1 class.

  • Responsible for planning, delivery, differentiation and pastoral support.

  • Access to phonics specialists, TA support and enrichment leaders.

  • Option to take on a subject responsibility (e.g. phonics, science, computing) if desired.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • QTS-qualified and confident in Key Stage 1 curriculum.

  • Strong understanding of transition from EYFS into KS1, with a play-based, nurturing approach.

  • Passionate about reading, writing and early maths development.

  • Committed to contributing to wider school life - trips, performances, clubs, etc.

  • Open to ECTs and experienced teachers - full induction provided.
