Our client, a leader in the nutritional healthcare sector, is currently seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their team in North West London. This permanent role offers exciting opportunities to leverage data to drive insights and optimise performance across retail channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse retail sales data and generate reports that provide insights on performance across categories and channels
- Monitor KPIs and conduct variance analysis against forecasts and previous periods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven support for merchandising and promotional strategies
- Identify and track relevant industry trends to inform future product development and marketing initiatives
- Assist in the creation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing findings and recommendations
- Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time tracking of business performance
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role within a retail or consumer goods environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a bonus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using analytical databases (SQL desired) for data manipulation and reporting purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
