Caritas Futures is proud to support a renowned charity dedicated to combating domestic violence. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Refuge Workers for full-time temporary ongoing roles based in Harlesden.

Role Overview:
As a Refuge Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Your responsibilities will include ongoing risk assessment, individual safety planning, and providing both emotional and practical support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people.
  • Work with high-risk clients to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Conduct thorough risk and needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive support.
  • Assist vulnerable adults and children affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, sexual abuse, housing issues, homelessness, or those who are ex-offenders.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.
  • A deep commitment to the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals.
  • Ability to work full-time hours in London.
