Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing

Wembley (covering North/West London - Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Brent, Enfield, Hammersmith & Fulham)
50,000 - 55,000 per annum

We are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting projects across North and West London within the local housing and public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid QS experience who is looking to step up and take ownership of varied and rewarding projects.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial support across reactive maintenance, planned works, and housing projects.

  • Manage cost planning, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure financial and contractual compliance.

  • Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure profitability and value for money.

  • Apply a sound understanding of NHF SORs in day-to-day contract management.



Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a QS within the local housing/public sector.

  • Strong knowledge of contracts, cost control, and commercial reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders.



Desirable (Bonus Experience)

  • Hands-on experience with Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund projects.
