We're looking for a permanent, full-time RE Teacher to join our Outstanding mixed school in Brent this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the richness and diversity of religious and ethical thought across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) within a supportive and high-achieving environment in West London.
Responsibilities
- You'll be delivering engaging and effective Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity and developing students' critical thinking and analytical skills.
- It's about contributing to a positive learning environment within the department and genuinely supporting students to reach their full potential.
- You'll cultivate a reflective and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful, respectful discussions.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A broad and current understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong classroom management, and that ability to facilitate sensitive discussions.
