Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEN, focusing on behaviour management and emotional regulation
Implement tailored strategies to help pupils engage positively in learning and social activities
Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals to deliver consistent support
Assist in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for all pupils
Monitor progress and contribute to individual education and behaviour plans
Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people in SEN settings
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, or equivalent) are desirable
