Furnace Operator

MET are currently looking for a Furnace Operator based in the West Bromwich area!

Requirements/Duties:

• FLT C/B experience is desirable but not essential – Future training on this will be provided by the company so a good chance to upskill within the role
• The role will involve loading and unloading furnaces, general weight of products can be anything from 2/3 KG’s up to 18 KG’s – So the right person must be physically fit as it will involve a lot walking, lifting and carrying of products

Shifts:

• 4 on 4 off shifts rotating between days & nights – These hours will be 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. As it’s a 4 on 4 off pattern weekends will be included so it’s important the right candidate is fully flexible in terms of working hours and availability
• Training will be provided 9am to 4pm for the first 2 weeks so no prior experience in this role is required – We are searching for a reliable person with a can do attitude who’s looking for a long term role

Pay:

• £12.21 Per hour - Including a shift allowance of £100 Per Week
