Seeking a self motivated and flexible person interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. This position is responsible for picking material off the picking belt, to clear blockages and provide general labouring duties if required. Working in our Smethwick, the successful candidate will be part of a team and work under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute towards the efficient running of the operation
- Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained
- Co-ordinate with other operatives to ensure the correct processing of all loads
- Perform such other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
- Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community

- A strong safe working ethos
- Experience of medium or heavy industry desirable
- Sound working knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety issues
- Previous picking experience favoured but not a necessity
