We are currently recruiting for an experienced stores person on behalf of our Client based in West Bromwich.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to manage goods-in, warehousing, and deal with all goods coming in, checking goods and storing correctly. This role will include someone who is computer literate and able to book in stock on their system.
Key Responsibilities:
Goods-In & Stores: Receive, inspect, and record deliveries; maintain accurate stock records.
Warehouse Operations: Pick/pack global shipments; organise storage; prepare international shipping documents.
Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, and assist with inventory reporting.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods; report and document quality issues.
Assembly & Support: Perform basic assembly tasks and assist with customer parts enquiries when needed.
Requirements:
2+ years' warehouse/goods in
Familiarity with stock management systems
Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness
IT literacy (Microsoft Office); export/documentation knowledge a plus
Forklift licence - Counterbalance (or willingness to obtain)
