Role Overview
In this role, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with ASC
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies
- Foster a safe, consistent, and engaging classroom environment
- Track pupil progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual goals
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Proven experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Knowledge of strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, or Makaton is highly desirable
- A calm, flexible, and innovative approach to teaching
- A strong commitment to inclusive and child-focused education
