Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Our inclusive and nurturing SEN school in West Drayton is looking for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist.

Duties

* Assess, plan, and deliver individual and group speech and language therapy for pupils with varying communication needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists to develop and implement personalised communication strategies.
* Contribute to EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans) assessments and reviews.
* Provide training, advice, and support to school staff and parents/carers to ensure communication goals are carried over into all environments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation in line with school and professional standards.
* Contribute to the wider development of the therapy provision within the school.

Requirements

* A recognised qualification in Speech Therapy or equivalent is essential.
* Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults with varying needs, is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with clients and their families.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
* Familiarity with assistive technology for communication may be beneficial.
