- Producing informative and engaging market updates, analytical documents and visual presentations for both internal teams and external partners.
- Assisting with the trading of gas and electricity by keeping meticulous records and managing trade confirmations.
- Designing and enhancing benchmarking tools to assess trading success and outcomes.
- Estimating future commodity values and creating financial models to support risk mitigation plans.
- Liaising closely with suppliers, clients and colleagues to provide actionable market intelligence.
- Leading regular internal briefings and playing an active part in trade execution aligned with strategic objectives.
- A university qualification (or similar) in Economics, Mathematics, Business or a closely related discipline.
- Previous involvement in energy trading or wholesale market operations.
- Solid knowledge of key commodities, including liquefied natural gas, conventional gas, renewable sources and carbon-related products.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VBA, and related tools.
- Strong communication abilities, with confidence in interpreting figures, extracting insights, and delivering presentations.
- A self-motivated, inquisitive mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for energy trading, well-suited to a collaborative and high-energy team setup.
