Role responsibilities
- Leading audits from planning through to completion for a range of clients
- Preparing statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 and other relevant standards
- Supervising junior team members, reviewing their work and providing on-the-job coaching
- Liaising with clients throughout the audit process, resolving queries and providing clear updates
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant auditing and financial reporting standards
- Supporting managers and partners on complex audit assignments and technical issues
- Contributing to process improvement and helping to maintain high-quality client service

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified
- Experience working within an audit and assurance team in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in managing audits and leading junior staff on site
- Organised, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality service
