- Undertake kinship fostering assessments (Form C and SGO assessments) in line with national guidance and statutory requirements.
- Provide ongoing supervision and support to kinship foster carers, ensuring placements are safe and sustainable.
- Work closely with children’s social workers, legal services, and the fostering panel to progress care planning and permanency arrangements.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, court proceedings, and fostering panel as required.
- Maintain up-to-date, high-quality case recordings and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and service development activities.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Proven experience in fostering, particularly in kinship care assessments and support
- Sound knowledge of fostering regulations, safeguarding, and permanency planning
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and meet deadlines
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Competitive £41 per hour rate
