Work Scheduler / Admin Assistant | Weston-Super-Mare | Full Time | ÂŁ22,500 - ÂŁ25,000 per annum

AIA are one of the country’s leading independent firms of consultant engineers and insurance assessors. We have over 40 years of experience providing first-class vehicle inspection services to all sides of the motor insurance industry.

We're currently looking for a full-time Work Scheduler / Admin Assistant to join our team at our head office in Weston-Super-Mare. The role involves arranging inspections for our team of field engineers around the Country, entering data onto our back-office system, handling telephone calls, emails and supporting the general administration of work in our office.

Inspections are arranged by phone, so you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as a good level of IT literacy to enter and update information on our back-office system. A good geographic knowledge of postcode areas around the UK would be beneficial for planning our engineers' routes and you must be able to demonstrate a methodical approach to your work with a good eye for detail and accuracy.

  • You’ll need to have good communication and organisational skills
  • Be able to consistently work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Be computer literate and be efficient in your work
  • Be able to apply common sense to any situation
  • A good geographical knowledge of the UK would also be beneficial
  • An awareness of the motor insurance claims process would be beneficial, but not essential

What will your role look like?

  • Speaking with clients and customers on the telephone, arranging vehicle inspections for our team of engineers, and providing updates on cases in progress
  • Liaising with our team of field engineers around the country to monitor the progress of inspections
  • Entering data onto our easy to use back-office system and keeping our system regularly updated
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing emails
  • Providing admin support to our team of field engineers/assessors around the country
  • You will need to help us ensure we work consistently within the SLA's we have with our work providers
