We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious high volume members, set in a stunning lakeside location. The club hosts a busy calendar of social and private events, from elegant dinners and celebrations to seasonal gatherings on the beautiful terrace.
We are seeking an experiencedEvents Managerto take ownership of the operational delivery of these events, working closely with the Events Administrator, who handles bookings and pre-event coordination. This is a part-time role (24 hours per week), offering both flexibility and varietysome weeks will be busier with events, while quieter weeks will include administrative support and planning.
The Role
As Events Manager, you will:
- Oversee the planning, organisation, and operational delivery of all member and private events.
- Lead and motivate event staff, working closely with the Restaurants Manager to ensure effective team sharing.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Support the Events Administrator with bookings and administration, while coaching and developing their skills.
- Liaise with the Marketing Manager to ensure events are effectively promoted across member communications.
- Manage event budgets and produce P&Ls to maximise profitability.
- Engage with members to ensure continuous feedback and improvement.
- Take on Duty Management responsibilities when required, including safeguarding duties as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
About You
- Proven experience in event management within premium hospitality or a members club environment.
- A confident, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
- Customer-focused with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Flexible, hands-on approach to support both operational and administrative needs.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and solutions-focused.
- Must be available at weekends.
