Office Manager / Administrator Construction Subcontractor

You will be working for a successful and growing carpentry and joinery subcontractor working across high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects in London and the South East. As their workload continues to grow, were looking for a highly organised Office Manager / Administrator to become a key part of their Weybridge-based team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, and can manage both office systems and general business admin with confidence and professionalism.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day office administration and organisation

  • Managing project documentation, subcontractor paperwork, and compliance records

  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices

  • Supporting the QS and site teams with document control and reporting

  • Scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and assisting with HR admin

  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, and subcontractors professionally and promptly

  • Maintaining smooth operations of IT, equipment, and office supplies

  • Supporting onboarding of new staff and health & safety documentation

What Were Looking For:
  • Strong administrative or office management experience (construction industry preferred but not essential)

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

  • Comfortable supporting a small but busy team with varied responsibilities
