The position is for a Senior Care and Support Worker in Whitby, North Yorkshire, starting on 20/04/2025 for an initial 2-month period.
The role involves providing physical and emotional care to residents aged 65 and over, including personal care and support with daily activities.
Candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience caring for the elderly, along with experience in assessments and support plans.
The job requires a commitment of 21 hours per week on a rota basis from 7am to 10pm, with a salary of £10.50 per hour.

Residential home for people aged 65+
Provide physical and emotional care of the service users
Monitoring and assessment of social, emotional and physical needs
Involvement in reviews and development and implementation of care and support plans
Supporting with personal care and continence needs as required
Initiate and lead in activities and outings
Assisting with meal times and cleaning
Report any inappropriate behaviour or abusive practice
Provide a happy, stable and stimulating environment
Promote the service users entitlement to choice, rights, independence, privacy and dignity
Attend meetings and reviews

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Experience caring for people aged 65+
Experience and willingness to provide personal care
Experience in assessments and support plans
DBS registered to the update service
