We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our clients Private Client team in the Whitley Bay area.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of legal tasks, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication within the department.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case preparation
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Word and other Office applications
- Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with scheduling meetings, court dates, and appointments using Microsoft Outlook
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems efficiently to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and external agencies via written correspondence or phone calls
- Support the team in preparing presentations or summaries for court proceedings or client meetings
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal standards through meticulous record keeping
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with professionalism and discretion
