We are currently working with secondary schools in Wickford seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join their science departments from January. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner or an ECT to inspire students and make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

Role Overview:
Teach engaging and well-structured Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS5
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and academic achievement
Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration, enrichment activities, and departmental initiatives

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
Experience teaching Chemistry across KS3–KS5 (A Level experience desirable)
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Passionate, adaptable, and committed to raising student attainment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
