Salary-Negotiable Depending on experience

Monday-Friday days, 40 hours per week.

The company:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known automotive manufacturing company. Due to large expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced Quality inspector with experience ideally in the motorsport/ automotive/ Aerospace or precision engineering industry to join them on a range of exciting upcoming projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Reading blueprints, drawings and specifications for projects and bespoke work
  • Inspect, test or measure materials or products being produced
  • Use of inspection equipment including handheld and electronics equipment such as CMM's, Calipers, gauges and micrometers.
  • Accept or reject finished work
  • Work with the wider engineering team to understand project specifications and quality
  • Work to health and safety processes & regulations

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within an automotive/aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of inspecting machine parts
  • Good understanding of quality control standards and procedures
  • Experience with quality inspection equipment such as CMM'S, callipers, Multimeters etc
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
