Adecco are currently looking for a number of school cleaners to work for our clients across Hindley Green, on a casual basis.
Duties:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, and communal areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Refill soap, toilet paper, and other hygiene supplies.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the site manager.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
- Lock/unlock premises if required (e.g., early morning or evening shifts).
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a school or similar environment).
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Good time management and reliability.
- Physical fitness for manual tasks and standing for long periods.
- Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) - mandatory for working in schools.
- Flexibility with working hours (early mornings, evenings, or split shifts).

Job Type: Temporary, casual
Days: Between Monday and Friday
Hours: Various shifts available between the hours of 6am-9am & 3pm-6pm
Hourly Rate: 12.21ph
