Due to continued growth, we're supporting their search for an experienced Production Planner to join their high-performing team based at a modern facility in West Lancashire.
The Role
As Production Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations-managing short and medium-term production plans in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a business where timing is everything, so your ability to juggle multiple demands, communicate cross-functionally, and react to real-time challenges will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans in line with forecast and demand.

Coordinate with procurement, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.

Manage raw material availability and highlight potential shortages.

Monitor production performance and adjust plans to meet KPIs.

Ensure planning data is accurate and up to date in ERP/MRP systems.

Work closely with commercial teams to react to changes in customer demand.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar planning role within FMCG or food manufacturing

Strong knowledge of planning systems (SAP, Sage, or similar).

Confident communicator who thrives under pressure and enjoys a dynamic working environment.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
