They now have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Forklift Service Engineer to join their team based in Wigan. This is a permanent position within the company, the successful candidate would be expected to provide a quality service to their expanding customer base within the northwest and an immediate start is available.

Forklift truck experience is preferred but not essential as training, guidance and support shall be given where necessary.

Their team of engineers work to a planned preventative maintenance schedule at the client’s premises and also maintain their own hire fleet. The applicant must have mechanical and electrical knowledge, as the position involves attending breakdowns and undertaking repairs as necessary.

Within the role you will be working on a variety of diesel, LPG and battery powered forklift trucks. An automotive, commercial or plant background would be a sufficient introduction as the correct skillset can be built upon and adapted to fit the role.

Days of work Monday - Friday 40hr flexible working week. The company’s flexi time scheme enables you to take any time worked beyond a standard week of 40hrs as paid overtime or taken as additional leave at the company’s discretion.
