CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Willenhall
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 12:30pm Friday
Pay rate: £17 to £21 per hour - negotiable dependent upon experience
Overtime available @ time and a third

Must have the full rights to work within the UK (No sponsorship offered)

The client is a family run CAD/CAM tooling solutions company, with a rich heritage spanning over nearly 100 years! The candidate will be joining a long serving team who are passionate about providing a first-class service to their customers.

As a 5-axis CNC Machinist you would ideally possess experience in Mazatrol and/or Heidenhain controls (other machine models and operating systems experience considered)
You will be experienced in programming offline in CAD/CAM - Powermill desirable though other CAD/CAM systems considered.

5-axis CNC Machinist duties include:

Program, set and machine a wide variety of tooling in a range of different materials such as a tooling board Spider-Man head, aluminium moulds & tools, cast-iron patterns and coreboxes
Be responsible for own Autodesk Powermill work station
Operate Vericut software to verify toolpaths prior to running
Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all tooling
Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specification
Interpreting project blueprints

Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role of 5-axis CNC Machinist:

Previous CNC programming experience
Expereince CAD/CAM software - Powermill or Hypermill
Working on CNC Milling machines
