Ideal candidate background for Fleet Administrator:

  • Previous experience in fleet, transport, or logistics administration is desirable, though strong administration experience in another fast-paced setting will also be considered
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of fleet compliance or willingness to learn

Fleet Administrator main responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure systems are up to date
  • Coordinate MOTs, servicing, inspections, and repairs with external providers
  • Support administration of fuel cards, insurance, vehicle tax, and contracts
  • Monitor driver compliance including licence checks and training
  • Prepare reports and assist with fleet cost management and budget tracking
  • Provide day-to-day support to stakeholders and act as a first point of contact for suppliers
