Ideal candidate background for Fleet Administrator:
- Previous experience in fleet, transport, or logistics administration is desirable, though strong administration experience in another fast-paced setting will also be considered
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of fleet compliance or willingness to learn
Fleet Administrator main responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate fleet records and ensure systems are up to date
- Coordinate MOTs, servicing, inspections, and repairs with external providers
- Support administration of fuel cards, insurance, vehicle tax, and contracts
- Monitor driver compliance including licence checks and training
- Prepare reports and assist with fleet cost management and budget tracking
- Provide day-to-day support to stakeholders and act as a first point of contact for suppliers
