Our client is a highly successful boarding and day school for pupils aged 13 - 18, based in 250 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified HR professional, looking to make a positive impact and contribution, within a vibrant School environment. You will work closely with the Bursar, the Head and the senior leadership teams to develop a robust people strategy, ensure excellent HR service delivery, and align HR initiatives with the school’s broader objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience of working at strategic level within a large complex organisation is essential as is an ability to bring strong leadership skills, change-management expertise, and to be able to contribute widely to all aspects of staff management.

Whilst prior experience in a school setting is not essential, empathy for and an understanding of the unique environment of an independent boarding and day educational institution is crucial, along with a robust, dynamic and empathetic approach.
