Key Responsibilities

In this Head Chef position, you will:

• Lead the full kitchen operation, reporting to the Catering Manager
• Oversee daily catering for 5,000 day students and 73 boarding students
• Manage an in-house hospitality service
• Guide, support and organise a brigade of 15-20 staff
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and consistency

What we're looking for

To succeed as our next Head Chef, you will:

• Be an experienced Chef with a background in high-volume catering
• Bring strong leadership experience within large kitchen teams
• Demonstrate excellent culinary skills and creativity as a Chef
• Have solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety and health & safety regulations
• Show strong budgeting, costing and waste-reduction skills
• Be organised, calm under pressure, and passionate about catering for young people as a Chef
