We are excited to be recruiting a Sous Chef for our client, a well-loved gastropub located just outside the heart of Winchester. Known for its seasonal menus, local produce, and relaxed yet high-quality dining experience, they are looking for a passionate and committed Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
- Consistently deliver high standards
- Contribute to menu development using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are upheld at all times
- Manage kitchen operations during Head Chef’s absence
The Offer:
- Salary of £32,000 per annum
- Full-time, permanent position

About You:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up
- Passionate about fresh food and delivering a great dining experience
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Reliable transport is beneficial due to the rural location
