Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Paralegal to join a highly successful Residential Conveyancing team in Petersfield, Hampshire. This is a permanent job with rewarding benefits including time off between Christmas and New Year, death in service and potential for career progression. Additionally, this conveyancing job is full time, but the firm would consider someone on a part time basis working 4 days per week.

Job Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and collaborative environment, providing support to the Fee earners, working on a wide range of residential property matters. This position offers a stable and exciting long-term career move for a dedicated Residential Property Paralegal.

The day-to-day duties with this Residential Conveyancing Paralegal job include:

  • Managing residential conveyancing files (sales, purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, transfers) under solicitor supervision.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage documents and completion statements.
  • Carrying out property searches, check titles, and summarise findings.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, coordinate exchanges and completions.
  • Handling file opening/closing, billing, correspondence and scheduling.

Person Specification

The successful Residential Property Paralegal will have previous experience in supporting Fee earners within a conveyancing term. The job is ideal for a proactive and ambitious Paralegal who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and is looking to join an established supportive friendly firm.

In addition, as the incoming Paralegal you Paralegal will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience supporting fee earners within a conveyancing team.
  • Sound knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and documentation.
  • Strong client care skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent in using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Insight Legal is a desirable but not essential, full training will be provided.
