Location: Windsor
Salary: 30-37,000
A well-established architectural practice in Windsor is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its expanding team. The practice is recognised for its strong design ethos and technical expertise, delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including residential, education, heritage and conservation, community, and leisure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation
- Assist with planning applications and building regulation submissions
- Coordinate technical information with consultants and contractors
- Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards
- Produce accurate working drawings using CAD and BIM software
- Attend site visits and meetings as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
- Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM workflows is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
