Architectural Technician

Location: Windsor

Salary: 30-37,000

A well-established architectural practice in Windsor is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its expanding team. The practice is recognised for its strong design ethos and technical expertise, delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including residential, education, heritage and conservation, community, and leisure.



Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation
  • Assist with planning applications and building regulation submissions
  • Coordinate technical information with consultants and contractors
  • Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards
  • Produce accurate working drawings using CAD and BIM software
  • Attend site visits and meetings as required


The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM workflows is advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
