We are seeking a diligent EMEA Tax Analyst to join our industrious team in the East Thames Valley region. The successful candidate will be required to have experience working in a similar role within a large scale multinational.

Description

  • Role will primarily involve supporting the Senior Tax Manager to prepare corporation tax returns using Alphatax for up to 4 UK companies.
  • Assist with UK tax provisions for UK statutory accounts e.g. UK tax disclosures for the year ended 31 March 2025 for at least 4-5 companies (priority area and skills requirement)
  • Ad hoc tasks will also include assistance with calculating the UK RDEC accrual and assist with the corporate interest restriction return
  • Set up simplified group relief arrangement for and support with SAO
  • Role may evolve over time due to ongoing changes in the team

Profile

A successful UK Tax Analyst should have:

  • ATT/CTA qualification
  • ACA/ACCA qualification preferred
  • Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex tax information.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases (preferably Alphatax experience)
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently, with an ability to prioritise.
