Management Accountant

Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a hugely successful FMCG Business based in Bromborough.This role is perfect for an ambitious part qual who are in the latter stages/finalist of their CIMA/ACCA qualification. Working closely with their talented Site Accountant, this broad role including business partnering will help you to excel within your career, offering clear progression to Site Accountant within c.12-18 months! Responsibilities:• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting • Prepare monthly journals, with reconciliation to weeklies • Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations • Involved in budgeting & reforecasting process • Analyse data, investigating & reporting on anomalies • Identification and tracking of gaps in performance • Finance Lead in Operational Finance activities at Site • Involved in the costing and pricing process for new and existing products • Support in checking Site monthly submissions are SOX compliant • Be No 2 when Site Accountant is unavailable • Able to work across functions with people at all levels of the Site Skills & Knowledge required:• Motivated self-starter • Problem solving skills • Excellent organisation and admin skills with attention to detail essential • Ability to work as part of a team but also use own initiative • Work effectively under tight deadlines contributing to a busy and dynamic environment • Excellent skills with MS Office, particularly Excel • Experience of working with an ERP system, ideally SAP • Experience of producing daily and weekly reports to a short deadline • Experience of working within a finance function in a large organisation • Experience of the FMCG environment desirableThis role is offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Study Support. Please note this is an on-site role with some flexible working hours.
