What you'll do:
As HSE Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of employees while promoting best practices in environmental management. Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring regulatory compliance across all aspects of health and safety legislation relevant to the facility. You will be instrumental in maintaining up-to-date policies aligned with ISO 14001 and 45001. By conducting comprehensive risk assessments and leading committee meetings focused on health, safety, and environmental matters, you'll foster a culture of shared responsibility. Your expertise will also be called upon to manage training schedules for emergency responders on site as well as oversee routine procedural tests like fire drills or disaster recovery checks. In addition to these core duties, you will champion sustainability initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in waste management processes. Supporting both internal audits and external accreditations forms another key aspect of your role, ensuring that all findings are addressed efficiently. Supervising contractors safely during their time on site further highlights your commitment to creating a secure workplace for everyone involved.
What you bring:
