Refrigeration Service Manager
Location: Head Office- Wirral (with occasional travel across the UK)
Salary: Depending on Experience

We are seeking an experienced refrigeration professional to take the lead in managing our nationwide team of engineers from our Wirral head office. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee service delivery, coordinate planned/reactive works, provide technical support, and ensure the smooth running of our refrigeration operations.

The role will be 80% office-based with around 20% site visits to maintain strong client relationships, carry out quality checks, and support engineers in the field. Occasional overnight stays will be required (on average once per month).

The Role

• Manage, mentor, and support the refrigeration engineering team nationwide
• Oversee planning and scheduling for both planned maintenance and reactive works
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, including CO2 systems
• Monitor service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction
• Maintain strong working relationships with key clients
• Conduct occasional site visits for quality inspections and technical oversight
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency

What You’ll Need

• Proven background in commercial refrigeration, ideally with supervisory or management experience
• F-Gas Cat 1
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• CO2 Qualification
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to balance office-based management with occasional on-site presence
