With a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £75,000, this role is ideal for both experienced Registered Managers and ambitious Deputies ready to step up.

  • £50,000: Suitable for a Deputy Manager ready to progress into a Registered Manager role, with appropriate qualifications and leadership experience.
  • Up to £75,000: For experienced Registered Managers with a proven track record of delivering high standards in children's residential care.

The RoleThe Registered Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. This position offers the chance to lead a team that supports vulnerable children and young people in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear leadership and direction to a team of residential childcare professionals.
  • Maintain and promote the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection, and compliance.
  • Effectively manage rotas, budgets, reporting, and operational needs.
  • Build strong working relationships with local authorities, schools, and families.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a senior residential childcare role (e.g., Deputy or Senior Practitioner).
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding practices and children's home regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete within three years).
  • A passion for nurturing the potential of children and young people with complex needs.
