A company in Witham is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a temporary to permanent position, working in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, paying 12.21 per hour.
No prior finance experience is required - if you can confidently operate a computer, you'll receive full training on the finance side. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounts and develop new skills.
Your key duties will include:
- Help with basic day-to-day finance tasks
- Check and enter purchase invoices into the system
- Keep on top of the finance email inbox and reply to queries
- Put together basic reports
- Count and record petty cash
- Keep finance files organised and up to date
- Answer phone calls and support with general office duties
Skills & experience we're looking for:
- Confident using a computer and basic MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional manner when dealing with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
