An automotive component manufacturer based in Witham are looking for someone who has experience of setting and operating CNC machines who would like to set and operate a robot on their night shift.
The hourly rate is up to 20.35ph, working Sunday: 20:30 - 7:00 Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 7:00.
Robot Cell Setter / Operator duties:-
- Setting and operating of the robot cell
- Responsible for setting and operating 3-axis & 5-axis milling machines
- Work with a variaty of metals including aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boards
- Working closely with the rest of the machine shop to deliver on time
- Deburring and manually finishing parts
- Responsible for the cutting and preparing of materials
The right person for the role with have a good understanding of the following:-
- Haas and fanuc controls
- Have a strong engineering background
- Keen eye on detail
- Be flexible with the work you are doing across the machine shop
This is a temporary to permanent role, working for a company with a full order book until the early 2030's, so it's an exciting time to join them.
