A respected and growing insurance brokerage is seeking a skilled Commercial & Corporate Account Handler to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial background who is ready to take ownership of refining internal processes and delivering exceptional client service.

The Role:

This is a dual-purpose position. Initially, you will lead a review and redesign of the internal servicing process for Commercial and Corporate clients. Once approved, you’ll implement the new system to ensure that workflow is managed in a more efficient and proactive way.

Once the process is embedded, you will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of a portfolio of Commercial and Corporate clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, maintaining relationships, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and redefine internal processes to support efficient client servicing
  • Provide high-quality advice, service, and policy administration
  • Handle policy documents, endorsements, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
  • Invoice premiums and manage credit control for allocated clients
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
  • Support new business development where appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and FCA regulations
  • Ensure complaints are managed in line with company policy
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the wider team

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within commercial or corporate insurance
  • Strong product knowledge across relevant commercial lines
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and manage a varied workload
  • Confident in using MS Office, Acturis, and OGI systems
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, team-oriented approach with a solutions-focused mindset
