Our prestigous client in Witham,Essex are looking for a Composite/Carbon Trimmer to join their team on a contract basis:
Key Responsibilities:
- Trim, drill, and bond composite components to engineering specifications.
- Work with carbon fibre and other advanced composite materials.
- Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and jigs.
- Ensure all components meet strict tolerances and visual quality standards.
- Inspect and check carbon fibre parts for defects.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to use shot blaster to abrade parts for bonding.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Composite Trimmer
- Background in motorsport or high-performance engineering preferred.
- Proficient in trimming, drilling, bonding, and finishing carbon fibre parts.
- Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Hours and Salary:
- Monday to Thursday 16:30 - 02:30
- 25.00 - 28.00 per hour
