Job Overview:
  • Job Title: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as a Band 5 Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician and support a dedicated NHS dispensing unit. In this role, you will:

  • Dispense and accuracy check a range of prescriptions

  • Ensure safe and timely supply of medications

  • Work as part of a focused, supportive pharmacy team

  • Maintain high standards in line with NHS policies and procedures

  • Play a key part in a non-patient facing, efficient environment

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification

  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician

  • No prior NHS hospital experience required - great opportunity to gain it!

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing

  • Ability to follow processes in a fast-paced unit

? Working Hours & Contract Details:

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with regular daytime hours. The role is based in a standalone NHS dispensing unit (not within a clinical hospital setting), and free parking is available on-site.
