Hooray are delighted to be partnering with a national charity to manage the recruitment for a Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Head of Finance you will:
- Setting strategic direction and ensuring long-term financial sustainability
- Managing and developing a high-performing finance team
- Reviewing, redesigning, and relaunching finance operations
- Producing detailed financial and management reports
- Supporting with annual plans, budgets, audits and compliance
- Acting as the go-to for financial queries across the charity
- Leading on payroll, pension, investments, tax and reporting
- Supporting service leads with costings and business plans
- Being a key contact for banks, auditors, funders and partners
To be successful as a Head of Finance, you will:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ post-qual experience in a senior finance role
- Charity experience? Big bonus—but not essential
- Able to balance strategic thinking with operational detail
- Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Staffology—or happy to learn
- Someone values-led, collaborative and ready to make a difference
In return, my client are offering a salary of up £69,000 per annum depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position.
