Hooray are delighted to be partnering with a national charity to manage the recruitment for a Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Head of Finance you will:

• Setting strategic direction and ensuring long-term financial sustainability
• Managing and developing a high-performing finance team
• Reviewing, redesigning, and relaunching finance operations
• Producing detailed financial and management reports
• Supporting with annual plans, budgets, audits and compliance
• Acting as the go-to for financial queries across the charity
• Leading on payroll, pension, investments, tax and reporting
• Supporting service leads with costings and business plans
• Being a key contact for banks, auditors, funders and partners

To be successful as a Head of Finance, you will:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
• At least 5 years’ post-qual experience in a senior finance role
• Charity experience? Big bonus—but not essential
• Able to balance strategic thinking with operational detail
• Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Staffology—or happy to learn
• Someone values-led, collaborative and ready to make a difference

In return, my client are offering a salary of up £69,000 per annum depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time, permanent position.
