We are seeking a Complaints Investigator to join our team in Witney. This is an essential role where you will use your analytical skills to investigate and resolve complex product issues, ensuring the safety and quality of medical devices. Full training is provided, making prior experience with complaints investigation optional.

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire | Hourly Rate: 16.49



Key Responsibilities

  • Product Investigation: Meticulously examine customer-returned medical devices to determine the root cause of reported issues.
  • Data Analysis & Trend Identification: Use computer systems (including MS Excel) to analyse data, uncover patterns in product complaints, and contribute to proactive problem prevention.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in improving and enhancing quality control procedures and overall efficiency.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with local and global colleagues to share insights and achieve collective quality goals.
  • Management Reporting: Identify and report significant complaint trends to management for further investigation and corrective action.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Analytical Aptitude: A strong ability to analyse information and find root causes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Essential IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Detail Orientation: Proven ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Education: Completion of secondary education or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Desired: Experience with root cause analysis or laboratory best practices is beneficial.


Compensation & Work Environment

  • Pay Rate: 16.49 per hour.
  • Shift: Night Shift: 4 nights on, 4 nights off (7 PM to 7 AM).
  • Benefits: Work in a clean, safe environment with a newly expanded laboratory, free on-site parking, and a subsidised canteen. Comprehensive training provided.
  • Requirement: Must be eligible to live/work in the UK and provide a five-year referencing history.
