A specialist, employee-owned environmental consultancy is looking for an enthusiastic early-career Occupational Hygienist / Indoor Air Quality Consultant to join its expanding team. The company focuses on dust and air quality monitoring, consultancy services, equipment development, and laboratory analysis.

Role Overview
In this varied role, you will:
Carry out occupational exposure assessments (dust, fibres, VOCs, gases and more) across a range of site types.
Produce clear, accurate interpretative technical reports.
Contribute to noise exposure work and LEV testing (training available).
Assist with handling client enquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting new business opportunities.
The role is mainly office-based, with frequent travel to sites throughout the UK and potential for hybrid working once fully trained.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
At least 1 year of experience in occupational or industrial hygiene, including monitoring airborne contaminants and noise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical report writing ability.
Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
Solid understanding of COSHH, EH40, and key MDHS methods.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
BOHS membership.
Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Awareness of indoor air quality standards (e.g., BREEAM).
Experience in LEV testing or handling sales/enquiry processes.
Strong customer service skills and confidence in client-facing and lone-working scenarios.
Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home.
