Role responsibilities
- Delivering tailored tax advice to owner-managed and privately owned businesses
- Supporting clients with corporate structuring, shareholder planning, exit strategies and compliance
- Reviewing corporate tax returns and overseeing the tax reporting process across your client base
- Identifying risk areas and planning opportunities across a variety of sectors
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building trust and long-term relationships
- Collaborating across departments to provide holistic client support
- Supporting the development of junior staff through coaching and technical guidance
- Staying informed on changes in tax law and translating these into practical solutions for clients

Candidate requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with significant post-qualification tax experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and planning for privately owned businesses
- Demonstrable experience in providing advisory support on restructuring, succession, and shareholder value
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and a commercial approach to problem solving
- Confidence managing a portfolio and mentoring junior team members
