Our client based in Woking are seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. The purpose of this role is to act as the main point of contact for CAD requirements.

The CAD Designer will:

  • Produce layout drawings
  • Work with architectural floor plans and the technical team
  • Liaise with project stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate design interpretation
  • Review customer orders
  • Manage drawing revisions
  • Ensure changes are correctly documented and communicated
  • Work with the install teams
  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, reviewed, and stored correctly
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with drawing related queries
  • Help identify improvements to drawing processes and internal systems
  • Work across multiple projects

Skills required for the CAD position:

  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Deliver a high accuracy and quality of output
  • Be confident on Design skills
  • Have a solid understanding of engineering concepts and processes
  • Be able to design for manufacture & production engineering
  • Be professional, positive and driven
  • Maintain good problem-solving skills
  • Have the ability to understand and meet targets
  • Have excellent administration and organisation skills
  • Work well towards tight deadlines
