We are an international engineering organisation and require an additional Assembly Assistant. We can offer full training and welcome applicants with experience from any role that requires good attention to detail and hand/eye co-ordination. You do not need to have worked in an Assembly role previously.  Working within our production area the Assembly Assistant role is a bench assembly seated role using small hand held equipment and tools whilst ensuring the equipment is kept clean and running smoothly.

You will be working Mon to Fri 37.5 hours per week, we can offer free parking and a starting pay rate that rises after successful completion of your probationary period. We offer a structured training programme and the opportunity to increase your pay rate as you learn new skills and progress.

This role involves working at a bench where you will be working on small intricate pieces, with duties involving:

Reading from instructions.

Preparing and cleaning the parts.

Masking, fixing or assembly of parts.

You must be confident reading instructions, have good attention to detail and happy with repetitive work.
