As a Sales & Project Coordinator you will work within a specific division where your primary goal is to drive and support sales and operations.? You will play a pivotal role in project success by managing compliance documentation, creating handover packs, overseeing project activities, and providing excellent customer service.??The perfect person will have a customer service mindset, some sales experience and the ability to work effectively in a target driven environment whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously .
The role is working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and is fully office based. Also, due to the location of the role it is best to be a car driver although it is accessible by public transport.??The salary will be £28,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience plus a 12% bonus potential.
Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales & Project Coordinator role in Wokingham:
- Act as the first point of contact for potential customers
- Liaise with the Designers to prepare and send tailored estimates
- Schedule surveys and coordinate appointments with customers and the Planning Team
- Follow up on quotations and actively support the sales process
- Process customer deposits and manage the installation booking process
- Prepare and issue comprehensive handover packs, including all required documentation.
- Upload job details to internal systems such as NAV and PAS.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to confirm completed works and ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in the administration and management of projects under the ECO4 grant scheme.
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with grant requirements, and timely progression of funded projects
- Attend events to drive B2C sales whilst supporting the B2B sales process
Skills and Experience Required for the Sales & Project Coordinator:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience in working and performing in a telesales role
- Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Confident and friendly communication skills - both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to customer service and sales follow-up
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team
- An ideas person: new ideas for changes/improvements to current processes and procedures will be welcomed
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience in or passion for renewable energy/sustainability
- Previous experience in grant-funded schemes (such as ECO4)
- CAD experience would be a great advantage
- Previous experience of NAV or PAS systems
